PhD in Mechanical Engineering

FSU Legacy Fellowship

Educational/Professional Background

I initially received an Associate in Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College before transferring to Florida State University and graduating from the Mechanical Engineering program.

Research and Teaching Interests, or Professional Field

My research interests lie in fluid mechanics for aerodynamic applications. Particularly the effects of an articulated forebody on the flowfield and the characteristics of a flight-vehicle.

Completing my undergraduate studies while performing tasks as an undergraduate research assistant has provided me with exposure and excitement to take lead on my own project. I look forward to absorbing the information and knowledge of all the intelligent minds that occupy the various facilities, regardless of their respective disciplines and interests.

Future Plans/Aspirations

My main goal at this point is to adapt all of the lab and research techniques as quickly as possible to make successful contributions in my field of study. I don't have major plans as far as the end game is concerned, but hope to learn more about the existing post-graduate school opportunities as I continue to learn from my mentors and advisor.
