I received an A.A. in Psychology from Miami Dade College then moved onto a Bachelor's in Psychology and Asian Languages & Civilizations with a concentration in Arabic from Amherst College in Massachusetts.

Research and Teaching Interests, or Professional Field

I am interested in providing mental health counseling to individuals who are incarcerated, during and after incarceration. I am specifically interested in assisting individuals who are reentering society as the current system does not provide them adequate tools for a smooth, successful transition.
