Research interests include popular music analysis, form in musical theatre repertoire, rhythm and meter studies, and music theory pedagogy.

Future Plans/Aspirations

I am working towards a PhD in Music Theory in hopes of teaching the subject matter at the college level in the future. I also plan to expand on the limited musical theatre scholarship within the field of music theory and hope to construct textbooks for use in the classroom that expand the repertoire and analytical systems employed within the undergraduate music theory curriculum.
