Educational/Professional Background
Anairis is an indigenous Mexican, who studied her undergraduate and master’s program in Mathematics Education at Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero, México. She received a Conacyt scholarship to complete a research stay at Universidad de Valencia, Spain. She worked a year as a middle school mathematics teacher in México. Anairis is currently a Fulbright scholar, studying her Ph.D. program in Mathematics Education at Florida State University.
Research and Teaching Interests, or Professional Field
I am currently interested in geometry proof at the high school level/preservice teachers. I want to research the methods of solution they used when they solve geometry proof problems.
