Research & Teaching Interests
My current research interests include wildland fire dynamics, specifically how vorticity plays a role in fire behavior. I'm also interested in the development of pyrocumulonimbus clouds at the microscale with the microphysical processes that lead to them, as well as the macroscale in how they feed back to fire-atmosphere interactions.
