Educational/Professional Background

To start with some of my academic achievements, I have MBA (with specialty in Leadership Consultancy and Strategic Development) from Ashland University; Postgraduate in Humanitarian Action and Conflict Management from Oxford Brookes University; Project Management Postgraduate from University of Cambridge; BA in accounting from Jimma University; Diplomas in Human Resources, Psychology, Health Studies and English Language & Literature from Alison.

Just to share my fresh graduate experience in my early employment after BA in accounting graduation, I joined World Vision as Administrator & working on 10 projects at the time with more than 10 admin and Finance employees under my supervision. During Financial reporting, it needs to work and report with SUN System accounting software (for which I did not take any training-just graduating!). One day, when I was working with Generator (there was no light at the Area Development Program-ADP & the generator supposed to take rest within a day but no time for that!) it got problem & stopped working for I was working day & night. That base and commitment in World Vision contributed for my today’s achievements. I can say, God helped me succeed.

Research and Teaching Interests, or Professional Field

I have done many papers on Humanitarian (like Urban Conflict, Ethical Dilemma of Humanitarian Workers, Resilience of Humanitarian Workers, Gender based Violence etc.) and development sectors (Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis, & Strategic Thinking, Transformational Leadership, Organizational Performance Assessment & Appraisal, , etc.). I am author and published Books at amazon on Quality and Management, The impact of Building Trust for Ethical leadership.

My future plan is to be Health Policy Analyst after graduating with Masters of Public Health.
