Educational/Professional Background
Nicholas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana. He also earned his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Professionally, Nicholas has experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and psychological testing/assessment through Washington Writers Academy and Meredith Psychological Testing & Services LLC, Kalamazoo MI. Also, he has student affair administrational experience through working as a hearing officer and graduate assistant in the Office of Student Conduct at Western Michigan University. Additionally, Nicholas serves as the Chief Communications Officer for Instavaxx LLC based out of Chicago, IL. Outside of work and class, Nicholas enjoys playing chess, reading, fellowshipping with fraternity brothers, and spending quality time with his friends, family, and beloved pet cat named Kairo.

Nicholas Reese’s research interest is exploring mental health outcome disparities disproportionately affecting African American Males and Sexual Health Outcomes in college-aged minorities.
