Research and Teaching Interests, or Professional Field
I am interested in political economy and economic history. My research interests include the regulation of sin goods and small businesses, informal institutions and their role in the self-governance of gangs, drug cartels, and militia groups, and government funding of scientific research.
I’m incredibly excited to be beginning graduate school at FSU!
Future Plans/Aspirations
Upon completion of my doctorate, I will likely seek a post-doctoral research position to continue developing my research agenda. After, I will likely take a position in academia.
Unique Awards/Achievements
My undergraduate research project at Jefferson National Accelerator Facility measured the radius of the proton and lead to a publication in Nature.
