Educational & Professional Background
My post-secondary journey started in 2012 at FSU where I earned my BS in Astrophysics in 2015. After graduation, I went back to Jacksonville and joined UNF's Teacher Residency Program and earned my Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Science with a focus on urban education. After two years in the classroom, I returned to FSU to start my doctoral journey.
Research & Teaching Interests
My main interests are in policies that shape teacher retention, recruitment, and quality of life. I am also deeply motivated by increasing racial and gender equity in STEM fields and look to shape policies to attain demographic parity. One area that I am exceedingly interested in is the overlap between project management and education policy implementation.
