Educational/Professional Background

I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching English as a Second Language at Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa, OK. While I was in college, I worked as a teacher assistant in an early learning center. After I graduated, I became an English Language Teacher in an elementary school.

Research and Teaching Interests, or Professional Field

My research interest is how motivation and emotion affect students' learning and how we can use interventions to help students improve their learning interests and efficiency.
