Careers Outside of Academia is a special luncheon which was held on Friday, November 15th, from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. in the HSF 4th floor Nancy H. Marcus Great Hall. A panel of three professionals (Dr. Whitley is an alumni Fellow!) shared their journeys from earning a Ph.D., to their current position. The panelists addressed: 1) reasons for choosing a path outside of academia; 2) transferable skills; and 3) advice for pursuing careers outside of academia. Time for Q&A, and a complimentary lunch was included!
